Police investigating Leah Croucher’s disappearance search for Blue Lagoon in Bletchley
Police investigating Leah Croucher’s disappearance have started searching a lake and its surroundings at a Bletchley nature reserve.
Ms Croucher was last seen at Buzzacott Lane in Furzton, Milton Keynes on Friday February 15 of this year. She was seen just after 8:15 am walking towards Loxbeare Drive and Chaffron Way.
Thames Valley Police are searching the lake in the Blue Lagoon Nature Reserve. They say the research follows information received from a member of the public who described seeing a gray hoodie in the area. Police believe it could be related to Leah.
The search is carried out by specialized police search officers, supported by an underwater search team from Specialist Group International.
This is expected to take several days and members of the public can expect to see a police presence in the area during this time.
Leah’s family have been made aware of the tracing activity and continue to be supported by family liaison officers. The police asked people to continue to respect the privacy of Leah’s family.
In addition, they are asking anyone who thinks they have relevant information to contact Thames Valley Police by calling 101 and citing reference 43190049929 or Operation Dawkins.
