The Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, on Nacula Island, in the Yasawa Group, is focused on adding a new day spa and expanding diving.
With the recent completion of a four year expansion plan, management has decided to venture into these areas now due to high customer demands.
Group Sales Director Kylie Hogan said: “The resort is experiencing a high occupancy rate as we have between 80 and 100 customers per day and future sales are expected to be extremely strong.
“And we are all excited for the coming year! “
The resort will also focus on the diving department, as this is a strong emphasis with more equipment and services provided to meet customer demands.
The management of the Blue Lagoon Beach Resort also put their staff first and kept their passion for sustainability first.
“We are committed to continually improving our focus on sustainability through gardening, recycling and conserving water, harvesting our own herbs and most importantly ensuring that the entire Blue Lagoon team has the best environment possible to do what she does best, ”Ms. Hogan said. .
The four-year expansion included renovating the villas, adding facilities such as a swimming pool, à la carte dining, and poolside lounges.
The Blue Lagoon Beach Resort was announced as a finalist for the 2014 AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards.
The Resort is nominated in the Accommodation category for quality accommodation.
