Cheapest condos for sale in Bay County, Florida

BAY COUNTY – Living in a condo can be quite expensive, but are there affordable options in today’s booming market?

According to the Central Panhandle Association of Realtors, there were five condos for sale in Bay County as of 9:30 a.m. Wednesday that stood out as the cheapest on the market.

Although none were located along the Gulf of Mexico, all were within walking distance of a body of water.

Unit B101 at Landmark on St. Andrew Bay was the lowest priced condo on the market in Bay County on Wednesday morning.  The one-bedroom unit was listed at $141,500.

2100 W. Beach Drive B101, Panama

Listed as the cheapest option in Bay County, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo has an asking price of $141,500.

Covering 750 square feet, the condo is located in Landmark Condominiums on St. Andrew Bay. He is part of a homeowners association that charges around $320 a month.

Mark Howard, a listing agent who works with CENTURY 21 Ryan Realty, said the condo was nothing short of a “theft.”

“Right now, with prices as they are, (and) with this location in historic St. Andrews…it’s (is) one of the steals from the beach,” said Howard. “You have a first floor level, you have bay access, you have tennis courts and a nice little community.”

Second on the list is a 720 square foot condo with an asking price of $169,900. It also includes a bedroom and a bathroom.

The property is located in Greenwood Estates and is part of a homeowners association that charges around $451 per month.

As of Wednesday morning, three of the five most affordable condos for sale in Bay County were located at Greenwood Estates.

“It’s (in) a community on North Lagoon, but the unit itself is not on the water,” Kerry Jackson, the listing agent who is also a broker and owner of Florida Realty, said Wednesday morning. Experts. “We got an offer last night… (but) someone might (still) come up with a relief offer.”

4114 Holiday Drive 11, Panama

#3 on the list is a 400 square foot condo with an asking price of $179,000. Like the first two properties, it has one bedroom and one bathroom.

Part of a homeowners association that bills $945 every four months, the listing is at Sand Castle Villas.

Unit 11 of the Sand Castle Villas was the third-lowest priced condo on the market in Bay County on Wednesday morning.  The one-bedroom unit was listed at $179,000.

Scott Seidler, the listing agent who works with Keller Williams Success Realty, said he believes the condo is still on the market only because it currently has short-term tenants.

Otherwise, it would have already sold.

“It’s the cheapest competitive property on the beach,” Seidler said. “It’s steps to the sand of the beach (and a) beach access point. The small resort is cute (and) well established.”

7813 N. Lagoon Drive 4F, Panama City Beach

#4 is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom condo with an asking price of $193,500.

As the second cheapest condo on the list, this 720 square foot property is located in Greenwood Estates. He is part of a homeowners association that charges around $451 per month.

Greenwood Estates units 4A, 4F and 2A were among the cheapest condos on the market in Bay County on Wednesday morning.  The community is located in the Panama City Beach area.

Robbie Hughes, the listing agent who works as head broker for Counts Real Estate Group, said the condo had been renovated and came with a “ready to move in” option.

“This resort is on North Lagoon, (and) it has water access,” Hughes said. “This is a second floor unit with a view of the (community) pool and the water.”

As of Wednesday morning, the fifth-lowest priced condo for sale in Bay County was a 680-square-foot property with an asking price of $194,000. It includes a bedroom and a bathroom.

Like the fourth and second most expensive condos on the list, it’s located in Greenwood Estates. He is part of a homeowners association that charges around $346 per month.

“I think that’s a lot, and people should be interested,” said Angie Wiggins, the listing agent who works for Prothro Real Estate & Associates. “It’s a floor unit. It’s great (and there’s) plenty of storage (with) upgraded granite countertops.”
