Consistently at the top of the list of water parks, Siam Park in Tenerife is a huge Thai-themed attraction with something for everyone.

For adrenaline junkies, there are waterslides that will get you up to 80 km/h on the way down, or you can just relax on one of the on-site beaches.

Younger children can enjoy smaller slides or just float down the lazy river.

You might think Alton Towers is a theme park, but it actually has an indoor/outdoor water park that you can visit year-round.

The indoor heated area is a splash zone with smaller slides and pool, while the outdoor section is all about big flumes.

Water park and theme park tickets are sold separately, but be sure to book before you go as it will be cheaper.

This modern water park is inspired by tropical sites around the world.

There’s a tiki bar, a Robinson Crusoe-inspired beach, lagoons, waterslides, and more.

Even the pool has sand at the bottom so it feels like you are in a tropical paradise.

The closest city to the water park is Verona; it’s not as popular as some of the other European cities, which means you can find some good deals there.

For the youngest there is also a wave pool, a lazy river and different splash zones.

There aren’t as many thrill rides, but younger kids will love all the different splash areas, wave pool, and lagoon.

Tickets for Aquafollie start from £22.20 pp, which you can book through Tags.

Since it’s so close to Venice, it’s perfect for a day out if you’re looking for a change of scenery.

Ideal for a day out during your stay in Rhodes, WaterPark in Faliraki is hugely popular with families and for good reason.

There is a huge range of slides from extreme kamikaze style chutes to softer raft slides.

For those with young children, there is also a lazy river, wave pool and splash zones.

There’s even a splash pool for those traveling with toddlers.
