Munich, March 6, 2017 – IDG Business Media is expanding its “Executive Education Program”. Starting in June, in addition to the CIO management program “Leadership Excellence”, which has been running successfully for six years, new continuing education programs in the areas of management methods, digitization expertise and future industry topics will be launched. The seminars are aimed at CIOs, IT executives and line-of-business managers. As an additional education partner, IDG Business Media was able to win the “European School of Management and Technology Berlin” (ESMT Berlin) and the “Fraunhofer Institute for Applied and Integrated Security” (Fraunhofer AISEC). In addition, there has been a cooperation with the “WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management” for several years.

“The demands on IT decision makers have increased enormously in recent years,” says Michael Beilfuss, Member of the Executive Board of IDG Business Media. “With our new education offerings, we give executives, together with our renowned educational partners, the opportunity to expand and deepen their knowledge and skills in all business-relevant areas.”

The education offensive starts on 29./30. June in Berlin with a seminar on “The Blockchain”, in which the participants receive all important information about decentralized, secure data structures and their possible applications. On 5./6. In July, the theme of “Design Thinking” will be on the agenda in Munich. The two-day seminar is all about creative customer-oriented problem solutions and innovation processes. The seminar “Cybersecurity” on 26./27. September in Munich deals with the currently biggest IT threats for companies, promising security strategies and the latest technology trends.

For IT executives in user companies with at least five years of professional experience, the proven “Leadership Excellence Program” enters a new round in October. Participants who complete the two modules in Düsseldorf (October 23-27) and in China (April / May 2018) receive the “WHU Certificate in Leadership Excellence”.
